Instead of thinking about current events, we’re gonna take you back to the past. Let’s watch anime with a historical theme. Whether it’s a more grounded historical action series like Vinland Saga and Golden Kamuy, or something much more out-there and twisted like Strike Witches, the important thing is that it covers a real part of our history. No vaguely medieval fantasy worlds; we want slice of life period pieces, samurai action, historical drama and whatever else you might come up with.
